As California makes more and more budget cuts, every student in California pays the ultimate price. Students are just unable to receive a proper education. Programs are cutting cut left and right, programs that are designed to help a student succeed. At first California started with no child left behind but now every child is being left all becuase budget cuts. Investing in children is the best investment that this state can make.
This source is one sided because it does not show anything to represent the opposing side. There is not anyone who is actually involved in the budget cuts presenting their side or views. What you see here is the effects of the budget cuts and what is happening to the youth and their education. The children feel their education is being threatened and they will not grow up with the same opportunities given if the budget cut did not exist. This picture was taken specifically of two young girls because it is more attention grabbing and heart felt to the audience and serves to create a certain reaction out of the audience. Their is no representation of why the budget cut is occurring and why it is being taken out from the schools, which is also why it is authoritative. It shows what is actually occurring in the world today as a result of the budget cuts. The argument can be taken further to not only show the effects the budget cut is having on children and their education but the schools themselves, the teachers, the materials, the equipment, the after school program, everything involving a school. Also what will the ultimate result be if teachers lose their jobs if programs are eliminated, etc.
